Premiership Rugby plan a minute's silence before all this weekend's games in tribute to Nevin Spence.

The Aviva Premiership will be remembering Ulster player Nevin Spence with a minute's silence before each of this weekend's matches.

The young Ireland international died along with his brother Graham and father Noel after inhaling slurry gas on their farm in County Down.

"After the devastating events of last weekend, it is entirely appropriate that the whole of the rugby world remembers Nevin and his family this weekend" said Phil Winstanley, rugby director at Premiership Rugby.

"In times like these rugby as a sport pulls together and Premiership Rugby and all the Aviva Premiership clubs want to remember Nevin and show support for his family and for Ulster Rugby at this extremely difficult time."

A #singforspences campaign has also been launched on Twitter to have 'Stand up for the Ulstermen' sung around the all grounds this weekend, in tribute to the family.
