George North plans to stay in Wales

George North says that he isn't tempted by a big-money move to France.

George North has said that he hasn't been tempted by a big-money move to the Top 14 and plans to stay in Wales for the foreseeable future.

The 19-year-old has two years left on his Scarlets contract and has revealed that he has no plans to follow Wales teammates such as Mike Phillips, Gethin Jenkins and James Hook to France.

"I'm very happy down at the Scarlets at the moment," the winger told BBC Wales.

"I'm getting game time on the pitch and for my age that's what you want to get - a bit more exposure and experience out there.

"I can't see myself going elsewhere right now. I'm enjoying my rugby in Wales. I'm there for two years now. So happy days really."

Scarlets face Edinburgh in the PRO12 tonight.
