Chiefs winger Lelia Masaga has confirmed that he will join Japanese outfit Honda at the end of the current Super Rugby season.

The 26-year-old, who has agreed a two-year contract with the club, has admitted that it was "a really tough decision" to depart New Zealand.

"This was a really tough decision to make," he told reporters at a press conference.

"The Chiefs have been an important part of my life for eight years, but this was just simply an opportunity that was too good to turn down."

Masaga has one international cap to his name.
