Justin Tipuric banned for three weeks

Ospreys flanker Justin Tipuric will not return until November after being handed a three-week suspension for a dangerous tackle.

Ospreys flanker Justin Tipuric has been suspended for three weeks for a dangerous tackle on Munster's Ian Keatley.

The 22-year-old committed the offence during the Ospreys' 17-13 victory in the RaboDirect league on Sunday, October 2.

Tipuric, who was sin-binned at the time as a punishment, will be free to resume playing from Monday, October 31.

His ban is similar to the one that has been handed to Wales captain Sam Warburton following a tackle the 23-year-old made during his side's World Cup semi-final loss to France at the weekend.
