Yorkshire Carnegie's Ryan Burrows handed three-match ban

Yorkshire Carnegie confirm that Ryan Burrows will serve a three-match ban following a citation against Worcester Warriors last month.

Yorkshire Carnegie have confirmed that Ryan Burrows has been handed a three-match ban following a disciplinary hearing.

Burrows was charged after appearing to trample on Worcester Warriors' Jonathan Thomas during a match at Headingley Carnegie Stadium last month.

The club confirmed on their official website that Burrows, who signed a new three-year contract with the team last year, will serve the suspension immediately.

Burrows will be available again for his side's home clash against Moseley on February 1.
