Kurtley Beale returns to training

A statement from the Rebels has confirmed that Australian international Kurtley Beale has returned to first-team training with the club.

The 24-year-old, who has undergone a period of rehabilitation for alcohol-related issues, could return for the clash with the Chiefs on Friday.

The statement read: "Rebels head coach Damien Hill will consult with the playing group and be guided by Beale's training form and integration within the team, before Kurtley is made available for selection.

"Beale will continue to undertake an agreed off-field program."

Beale had previously been involved in a host of off-the-field clashes.
