Newcastle Falcons hammer Bucharest Wolves 28-0

Newcastle Falcons have hammered Bucharest Wolves 28-0 in the Amlin European Challenge Cup this evening.

Ryan Shortland got the home side off to a flyer with a second-minute try before Rory Clegg kicked a couple of penalties and a conversion before the break.

Clegg scored his third penalty on the hour mark, before Phil Godman added to the scores with five minutes remaining.

Tom Catterick scored another try late on as the home side ran riot over their Romanian opponents.
