Dean Richards nearing coaching return

Former Harlequins boss Dean Richards is reportedly close to a coaching return with Newcastle Falcons.

Richards resigned from his position with Quins as a result of his three-year ban for his involvement in the 'Bloodgate' scandal.

That suspension is due to come to an end in August of this year, leaving Richards free to resume his career within the game.

Should Richards join the Falcons, he will be joining a club that is currently eight points from safety in the Aviva Premiership table.
