Adam Powell, Kieran Brookes commit to Newcastle Falcons

Newcastle Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards has revealed that Adam Powell and Kieran Brookes have both agreed new contracts with the Championship outfit.

Powell, who joined the club from Saracens in March, will now remain with the Falcons for at least the next two seasons, while Brookes has also agreed a two-year deal.

"I am thrilled that Adam and Kieran have signed for us, and I am very much looking forward to working with them," Richards told the club's official website.

"They are both quality acquisitions, and they can see what we are trying to do at the club in the long-term."

Newcastle currently top the Championship table.
