Newcaslte Falcons duo receive bans

Newcastle Falcons duo James Hall and Rob Vickers have received one-week bans for incidents during their Aviva Premiership clash with Harlequins earlier this month.

Hall was cited for kicking an opponent and suspended until March 27 after pleading guilty.

Vickers was cited for striking and was handed the same punishment and return date.

The case against Tai Tu'ifua, who was also cited after the game for a dangerous tackle, was dismissed.

Newcastle are currently bottom of the Premiership with 19 points from 17 games.
