Clinical win for Munster as Edinburgh fail to score

Munster kept Edinburgh off the scoresheet as they recorded a clinical win over the Scottish side in the Heineken Cup this afternoon.

Two early penalties in a quiet first half gave Munster a 6-0 lead at half-time.

Second-half tries from Conor Murray, Peter O'Mahony and Sean Dougall gave Munster a comfortable lead at Thomond Park.

The victory moves the Irish team up to second in their pool behind Saracens.
