London Welsh complete Eddie Aholelei signing

London Welsh have completed the signing of prop Eddie Aholelei from Melbourne Rebels.

The Tonga international joins the newly-promoted Aviva Premiership club having spent the past two years in Australia.

"I know London Welsh has a very proud history and I'm looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead, both on and off the field," Aholelei told London Welsh's official website.

"The move represents a fantastic chance for me to enjoy a fresh start and for my family to experience a different country and culture."

London Welsh mark their return to the top flight at home to Exeter Chiefs on September 7.
