Wasps winger Sailosi Tagicakibau signs new deal

Wasps winger Sailosi Tagicakibau pens a one-year contract extension with the club.

Wasps winger Sailosi Tagicakibau has signed a new one-year deal with the Aviva Premiership club.

The 32-year-old Samoan joined Wasps from London Irish at the start of the season.

Tagicakibau, who is back to full fitness after a hamstring injury, has scored four tries in 15 games for the team.

"I've really enjoyed myself since arriving. I was fortunate to get a lot of game time early on, so it has been a relatively smooth process blending in," he told the club's official website.

"It's a great set of boys here at Wasps, with a mix of talented youngsters and a few more experienced heads amongst us and it's been good to see us starting to click in some of the games this season."

Wasps continue their campaign on Sunday when they host Gloucester Rugby in the league.
