Seven sign Wasps contract extensions

Wasps have announced that Joe Simpson and Elliot Daly are among seven players who have signed new deals with the club.

Ashley Johnson, Matt Mullan, Sam Jones, Thomas Young and Will Rowlands have also extended their stays at the Ricoh Arena.

Wasps finished the Aviva Premiership season in sixth place in the table, seven points adrift of the playoff positions.

"I'm delighted to have committed my long-term future and the prime of my career to Wasps, the club I supported as a youngster growing up," Simpson told the club's official website. "It's been my second home really for the last 10 years."

Wasps wrapped up their league campaign last weekend with a 40-40 draw away to London Irish.
