London Wasps have moved above Bayonne to top Pool Three of the Amlin Challenge Cup with a 25-11 win at Adams Park.
The hosts took an early lead when Sam Jones touched down in the third minute, with Nick Robinson scoring the conversion.
Robinson's penalty on 18 minutes made the score 10-0 before Benjamin Boyet's penalty got the French side on the scoreboard.
Another penalty from Robinson was cancelled out by Boyet on the half-hour to make the score 13-11.
Bayonne went in at the break with the initiative thanks to Sione Lauaki's try. However, Boyet was unable to make the conversion as Wasps led 13-11 at the break.
Despite the visitors' surge at the end of the first half, a trio of penalties from Robinson, along with a kick by Elliot Daly, gave the home side a comfortable lead.
