Dai Young satisfied by Wasps draw at Newcastle Falcons

Dai Young admits that his Wasps side "just about" deserved their 23-23 draw away to Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership.

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young has admitted that his side "just about" deserved their draw at Newcastle Falcons in the Aviva Premiership.

The teams shared the spoils at Kingston Park last night as Wasps came from 16-23 down to take something away from the game.

Despite claiming that his players put in a "sloppy" performance, Young is pleased by how they dug in to avoid defeat.

"Getting two points is obviously better than a loss. We probably just about deserved the draw. We certainly didn't deserve a win," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "We made a very poor start and for most of the game we were very sloppy and didn't build much pressure."

Wasps return to action next Sunday when they host Gloucester Rugby in the league.
