Dai Young: 'Leinster experience made difference'

Wasps director of rugby Dai Young concedes that Leinster made their experience count following his side's quarter-final defeat in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

London Wasps director of rugby Dai Young has admitted that Leinster's experience made the difference following his side's quarter-final defeat in the Amlin Challenge Cup.

A 48-28 triumph for the visitors at Adams Park means that they will now host Biarritz Olympique in the semi-finals of the competition.

"You looked at us and you saw a team that was developing, but you looked at them and they looked like a team which has played at this level for a long time," Young told Sky Sports News.

"They were more streetwise than us and had a bit more control in most areas than us tonight.

"We will learn from that and these are the type of opposition we need to play."

Wasps return to Aviva Premiership action next Sunday when they travel to Leicester Tigers.
