Dai Young expecting tough Gloucester test

Dai Young targets a first away victory of the Aviva Premiersgip season when his Wasps side travel to face Gloucester Rugby tomorrow afernoon.

Dai Young has warned his Wasps players to beware a "hungry" Gloucester Rugby side in tomorrow's Aviva Premiership clash.

Wasps saw off London Irish 48-16 in their first game at the Ricoh Arena last weekend, while Gloucester suffered defeat at the hands of West Country rivals Bath.

Ahead of this weekend's meeting between the two sides, Young has challenged his charges to pick up their first away league win of the season.

"They are going to be hurting because they lost their last home game," he is quoted as saying by ESPN. "I see a real hungry Gloucester team playing in front of a packed house again. They don't lose on a regular basis there, so we know we've got to back up last week.

"And we still need that 80-minute performance because, quite frankly, last weekend was only a 40-minute performance. [Gloucester] have got a decent pack with a very good set-piece, then they've got bags of pace behind.

"They are as dangerous as anybody in broken play, so they like to play wide, and we expect them to play with a lot of width."

A victory for Wasps at the Kingsholm Stadium could see them climb into the top five.
