London Wasps winger Christian Wade will miss the next three months with a groin injury.

London Wasps will have to make do without the services of winger Christian Wade for three months.

The 20-year-old will undergo surgery to repair a groin injury that he suffered during his side's 6-0 to Worcester on New Year's Day.

Wade had been tipped to make Stuart Lancaster's England squad for the upcoming Six Nations.

However, the groin complaint will keep him out until at least April.
