Tom Varndell out for 12 weeks

London Wasps will have to make do without the services of Tom Varndell for 12 weeks.

The winger is due to undergo surgery on a foot complaint later this week, ruling him out of action for around three months.

"Bad times, gonna need to get an op in the next few days on my foot! Absolutely gutted!!," the 26-year-old wrote on Twitter.

Varndell joins a lengthy injury list at Adams Park, which includes Tom Rees, John Hart, Joe Launchbury, James Cannon and Ross Filipo.
