Harlequins flanker Joe Trayfoot signs London Irish deal

London Irish have confirmed that Harlequins flanker Joe Trayfoot will join the club at the end of the season.

The 23-year-old has made nearly 50 appearances for Quins after coming through their academy system.

Trayfoot is Irish's fourth new signing in recent weeks following the arrivals of Ben Franks, Sean Maitland and Brendan McKibbin.

"I am really looking to joining London Irish," he told the Exiles' official website. "I had a good conversation with the rugby committee and it is clearly a very ambitious setup heading in a really promising direction."

Trayfoot and his Harlequins teammates are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Gloucester Rugby in the LV= Cup.
