London Irish too strong for Mont-de-Marsan

London Irish overpowered French side Mont-de-Marsan in their Challenge Cup tie this afternoon.

The Exiles took the lead in the first minute through Jamie Gibson, eventually going in 24-12 at the break.

Seven second-half tries, including two from Topsy Ojo, saw London Irish take a commanding hold of the match at the Madejski Stadium.

Mont-de-Marsan had two players yellow-carded towards the end of the match as London Irish ran up the score.

The 69-23 win puts London Irish top of their pool after two games.
