Treviranus, Ellis extend Irish contracts
London Irish confirm that Ofisa Treviranus and Gerard Ellis have extended their contracts with the Aviva Premiership club.

London Irish have confirmed that Ofisa Treviranus and Gerard Ellis have extended their contracts with the Aviva Premiership club.

Nine players have now committed their futures to the Exiles so far this year, with David Paice, Shane Geraghty, Topsy Ojo, Darren Allinson, Halani Aulika, Jon Fisher and Tom Fowlie having already penned new deals at the Madejski Stadium.

Director of rugby Brian Smith said: "It is great news for the club that both these players will be here next season. Ofisa has been outstanding for London Irish since he joined back in 2012 and Gerard is a hugely exciting prospect who we believe can be an International player in the years ahead."

Ofisa added: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my two and a half years at London Irish and I'm excited to be here for another three seasons.

"Clearly there are many developments happening off the field at our club and the positive steps we are making from a rugby point of view made staying at London Irish an easy decision."

Flanker Ofisa is a Samoa international, who has made 26 Test appearances to date.
