London Irish director of rugby Brian Smith is reportedly on the verge of leaving the club with immediate effect.

The Exiles are currently in 11th place in the Aviva Premiership table with four wins from 13 games.

Smith was expected to depart at the end of the season, but he will now make his exit by the end of the week, according to BBC Sport.
