Leinster clinch European Challenge Cup

Leinster have won the European Challenge Cup for the first time in their history with a 34-13 victory over Stade Francais in Dublin.

Tries from Ian Madigan, Sean Cronin and Rob Kearney were all converted by Jonny Sexton as the Irish side took control in the first half.

Meanwhile, Jerome Porical kicked over two penalties for the opposition as Leinster took a 21-6 lead at the break.

Sexton then notched up two penalties in the second half to give Leinster a 27-6 advantage with 20 minutes left on the clock.

Stade Francais scored their first try of the match on 66 minutes when Jeremy Sinzelle touched down, while Jules Plisson added the extras.

However, Leinster sealed the triumph late on as Cian Healy's score was converted by Sexton.
