Harlequins run in five tries as they defeat Newcastle Falcons at the Stoop this afternoon.

Harlequins have recorded an emphatic 39-8 victory over visiting Newcastle Falcons this afternoon.

Danny Care and Seb Stegmann ran in tries, one of which was converted by Nick Evans, to give Quins the lead heading into the break.

Jeremy Manning claimed Falcons' only score of the opening 40 minutes, going over for a try in the 33rd minute, only for Jimmy Gopperth to miss the resultant conversion.

Luke Wallace, Mike Brown and Stegmann scored further tries after the restart for Falcons, with Evans managing to make one conversion to wrap up the victory.

Gopperth was Newcastle's point-maker in the 58th minute, scoring a penalty.
