Harlequins captain Chris Robshaw was pleased that he and his teammates were able to repay their supporters' loyalty by winning the Aviva Premiership title.
Robshaw was named man of the match as the Londoners overcame Leicester Tigers 30-23 in an exciting final at Twickenham.
Prior to the game the Harlequins squad got off their team bus early and walked among their fans to get to the stadium.
Robshaw was keen to reward the supporters for staying behind the team following their involvement in the Bloodgate scandal three years ago.
Robshaw said: "The fans gave us a guard of honour coming in and it was emotional for myself and the other players, who have been at the club for eight years now.
"We have had our highs and lows, a bit of drama. It is nice to repay them."
Harlequins had finished one point above Leicester in the Premiership table.
