O'Shea out of Ireland running

Harlequins director of rugby Conor O'Shea has revealed that he is not interested in becoming Ireland's next full-time head coach.

It is understood that current Ireland boss Declan Kidney will depart when his contract expires this summer, but O'Shea has ruled himself out of the running.

"I'm contracted to Harlequins until the end of the 2013-14 season. I will be honouring that commitment and hopefully continuing beyond it," he told reporters at a press conference.

O'Shea made 35 appearances for Ireland before retiring in 2000.
