Conor O'Shea: "No hiding place" for Harlequins following Exeter Chiefs defeat

Conor O'Shea admits that Harlequins are still some way short of where they want to be in the Aviva Premiership table following their eighth defeat of the season.

Harlequins director of rugby Conor O'Shea has admitted that there is no place to hide following yesterday afternoon's 32-21 reverse against Exeter Chiefs.

Quins made the perfect start at Twickenham Stoop thanks to an early Nick Evans try, but the hosts failed to truly push on as they fell to defeat number eight of the Aviva Premiership season.

Speaking after the game, O'Shea is quoted by London24 as saying: "There's no hiding place. You can't fault the effort. I think the confidence isn't there because we've had a few blows along the way.

"It's not where we want to be as a club, but I wouldn't ever question the players after seeing what they did out there today in terms of reaction and what they're about."

Up next for ninth-placed Harlequins is a trip to face Aviva Premiership pacesetters Northampton Saints.
