Gloucester cruised to a victory over the Cardiff Blues in the LV Cup at Kingsholm today.
Last year's champions dispatched of their Welsh opponents with five tries, giving them a potentially valuable bonus point.
The Blues took the lead through a Ben Blair penalty, but it was the last time Cardiff were to get on the scoreboard.
Gloucester touched down for their first try through flanker Peter Buxton, converted by Mills, before centre Tim Molenaar extended the home side's lead with another try.
It was in the second half, though, that Gloucester began to really dominate the play.
A brace of tries from James Simpson-Daniel accompanied penalties from Mills before a converted Andy Hazell try capped off the scoring in the last five minutes.
The Blues almost got a consolation try in the closing seconds through Tom James, but he couldn't prevent the ball going dead.
