Result: Toulouse 21-17 Gloucester

Tries from Clement Poitrenaud and Timoci Matanavou helped Toulouse overcome Gloucester 21-17 at the Stade Ernest-Wallon this afternoon.

Fly-half Luke McAlister scored two penalties, while Lionel Beauxis also produced one penalty and one conversion.

Gloucester scored two tries of their own courtesy of Charlie Sharples and centre Henry Trinder.

Freddie Burns converted both those tries and also added a penalty kick to the score.

However, it was not enough for Bryan Redpath's side to claim a share of the spoils in France.
