Fiji triumph in Hong Kong Sevens

Fiji won the Hong Kong Sevens with an emphatic 33-19 win over New Zealand in the final.

The Pacific Islanders ran into an early 14-0 lead thanks to tries from Savenaca Rawaca and Jerry Tuwai, before Rawaca scored again before half time.

New Zealand's Scott Curry scored twice in the second half to drag the Kiwis back into contention, but a try from Jasa Veremalua confirmed victory for the Fijians.

Fiji reached the final by beating South Africa 21-15 in the semi-finals, and England 14-12 in the quarter-finals.
