Gallagher Premiership final - Overview, Date, Team of the Season

Gallagher Premiership final - everything you need to know

The 2024-25 Gallagher Premiership is into the business end of the season, with the semi-finals on deck this weekend before we head to Twickenham for the Grand Final. Bath Rugby emerged as the league leaders after the group stage, while Leicester, Sale, and Bristol completed the top four, setting up what should be a thrilling couple of weeks of fierce competition.

Here, Sports Mole will provide a breakdown of all the key information you will need ahead of the final, which will take place at the iconic Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, in London.

Gallagher Premiership 2024-25 season overview

The 2024-25 Gallagher Premiership season kicked off in September with high expectations, particularly for Bath, who narrowly missed out on the title last year. As it turned out, under the leadership of Johann van Graan, Bath dominated the league, clinching top spot with 72 points, 11 clear of second-place.

Leicester Tigers, rejuvenated under Michael Cheika, climbed from eighth place  last season to second, while the Sale Sharks and Bristol Bears secured the remaining Playoff spots in third and fourth, respectively. Notably, Saracens missed the playoffs for the first time since 2009 (excluding seasons affected by their salary-cap relegation).
