Exeter Chiefs coach Rob Baxter hints at Sireli Naqelevuki exit

Exeter Chiefs coach Rob Baxter admits that experienced centre Sireli Naqelevuki could leave the club this summer.

Exeter Chiefs coach Rob Baxter has hinted that centre Sireli Naqelevuki will leave the club at the end of the season.

The Fiji international, 34, has made just three appearances for the team during the current campaign.

He joined the club from Super Rugby side Stormers five years ago.

With Naqelevuki's contract due to expire this summer, Baxter admits that he could be on his way out of Sandy Park.

"People are well aware that he's had a few injury issues so far this season and he's getting on a little bit," he is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "Whether we'll see Sireli back in the centre in an Exeter Chiefs shirt is too early to say."

The Chiefs continue their Aviva Premiership campaign on Saturday when they make the trip to Harlequins.
