Result: Exeter Chiefs 13-17 Saracens

Champions Saracens have recorded a 17-13 win against Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park.

Owen Farrell made the breakthrough for the visitors when he scored a try after seven minutes, which Charlie Hodgson converted.

Ignacio Mieres cut the lead with a penalty three minutes later before Farrell was successful with a penalty of his own.

Mieres kicked over again for the hosts on 30 minutes to makes the score 6-10 at half-time.

Sarries stretched their advantage just before the hour when Hodgson converted his own try, but Richard Baxter's late converted try earned the Chiefs a losing bonus point.
