McCall rues Saracens discipline

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall has blamed his side's lack of discipline after they slumped to a first defeat of the season at Exeter Chiefs.

Kelly Brown and Chris Ashton were both sent to the sin bin at Sandy Park as Sarries were narrowly beaten 14-12.

"It was a difficult game in the conditions but their fundamentals were much better than ours," said McCall.

"You can't afford to come to a place like Sandy Park and lose two men to the sin bin. On top of that we gave away a number of other penalties which had consequences in the match - something that we had prided ourselves on wasn't as good today."

The result means that Saracens have dropped down to third in the Aviva Premiership table.
