Lobbe out of World Cup

A torn ligament in his left knee has ended Argentina's Juan Fernandez Lobbe's participation in the World Cup.

The Pumas vice-captain sustained the injury during Sunday's Pool B victory over Scotland in Wellington.

Lobbe, who plays his club rugby for French side Toulon, is likely to be out of action for six months.

Coach Santiago Phelan has yet to decide whether to call up a replacement for the 29-year-old.
