Robbie Deans praises Argentina after Australia victory

Australia coach Robbie Deans has praised Argentina's resoluteness following Australia's 23-19 victory.

Argentina are competing in their first Southern Hemisphere tournament and they are very much an unknown quantity.

"I wouldn't underestimate what we did here tonight, I mean the Argentines are a good side, no team has played consistently against them," said Deans.

"They're a great side, a side that plays with a lot of pride and a lot of ambition."

The Pumas have yet to win in the Rugby Championship in spite of some promising performances.
