Great Britain take gold in the mixed cox four

Great Britain have won the gold medal in the LTAMix4+ mixed coxed four.

Britain finished ahead of the favourites Germany and Ukraine, who came in second and third respectively.

The British team went out strongly and were able to maintain their pace.

Germany finished well but could not get past Britain.

The mixed four consists of two women and two men.

Earlier, Canada had won the B final.
