Great Britain's Tom Aggar secures ASM1x men's single sculls final spot

Great Britain Paralympic rower Tom Aggar has clinched a place in the ASM1x men's single sculls final after securing a personal best time.

The Brit took an early lead in his heat at Eton Dorney and left his competitors behind to reach the finish line with an impressive 4:56.65.

South Korea's Park Jun Ha claimed the second-quickest time of 5:01.70, which earned him a place in the repechage.

Huang Cheng of China managed to secure a world record of 4:45.02 in the second heat of the contest at Eton Dorney to also nab a place in the final.
