Wolfburg striker Nicklas Bendtner mocks up a political campaign poster nominating himself to be Denmark's next prime minister.

Nicklas Bendtner has revealed a campaign poster putting himself forward to become Denmark's next prime minister.

The Wolfsburg striker mocked up an image of himself holding the Ballon d'Or trophy describing himself as 'Lord Bendtner' as his home country went to the polls yesterday.

The 27-year-old shared the poster on his Instagram account:

Bendtner left Arsenal last summer, having scored 24 goals in 108 appearances for the club.
