West Brom's Saido Berahino launches his own charity foundation

West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino launched his own charity Foundation on Tuesday night in a bid to help those in developing countries.

The 21-year-old, who was recently in the headlines for allegedly inhaling 'laughing gas', has opted to give back to those less fortunate in his position as a Premier League footballer.

During the launch party, Berahino's teammates, including captain Chris Brunt, Jonas Olsson, Victor Anichebe, James Morrison, Youssouf Mulumbu and Gareth McAuley, turned up to support him.

The Saido Berahino Foundation will work alongside charity WaterAid, which aims to raise money in order to give people better access to clean water.

The England Under-21 international, who is an ambassador for the charity, fled his native country of Burundi as a child due to the civil war, losing his father during the conflict.
