Rickie Fowler, Bubba Watson pose shirtless in kilts after Ryder Cup defeat

Fowler, Watson pose shirtless in kilts

Team USA duo Rickie Fowler and Bubba Watson appeared to have taken a light-hearted reaction to losing the Ryder Cup to Europe by dressing up in kilts and wigs.

The two failed to earn a point for Tom Watson's USA side in Sunday's singles as Europe went on to win their 10th title at Gleneagles.

Despite being on the losing side, the duo decided to adapt to Scottish culture by posing for photos wearing kilts without a shirt.

Fowler and Watson's teammate Hunter Mahan posted a picture of the pair in their surprise attire on Twitter, with the message: "What just happened?"
