Rickie Fowler has 'USA' shaved into his hair ahead of Ryder Cup

Rickie Fowler has been gearing up for this week's Ryder Cup showdown by having 'USA' shaved into his hair.

The 25-year-old, who has been known to wear colourful attire on the golf course, will take on Europe as part of Team USA at Gleneagles this week.

Prior to the start of the tournament on Friday, Fowler, who finished tied third at the US PGA Championship last month, posted an image of his tribute on Instagram with the message: "Thanks to my boys over at @youarenextbarbershop for getting me Ryder Cup ready...the week is here #RyderCup #TeamUSA #Believe."

The American team, who have secured just one Ryder Cup victory in the last six, touched down in Scotland with captain Tom Watson this morning.
