Olympic quintet appear on 'Big Brother'

Five Olympic champions have made a surprise appearance in the American Big Brother house.

Game-show contestant Shane won a task and decided to invite fellow housemate Danielle to share the reward with him.

The pair were then taken to a separate room, where they met McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman, Gabrielle Douglas, Kyla Ross and Jordyn Wieber.

The women, who are nicknamed the Fierce Five, won the United States' first Olympic gold in women's team gymnastics since 1996 when they triumphed at London 2012 earlier this summer.
