Farah's brother arrested in London riots

Olympic champion Mo Farah's brother Omar was arrested during the London riots in August last year.

The 20-year-old was remanded in custody at the Feltham Young Offenders' Institution before the charges were dropped against him.

"The experience of being in the young offenders' unit made me never want to go back," the Daily Mail quotes Farah as saying.

"Mo's success has inspired me to do something with my life. I don't want to doss around and get in trouble with the police."

Mo shot into the spotlight after clinching gold medals in the 5,000m and 10,000m races at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
