Report: Peter Crouch glad 'Strictly Come Dancing' is over

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch is reportedly looking forward to getting his wife back following the end of the latest series of 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

Peter Crouch has reportedly admitted that he is glad that the latest series of 'Strictly Come Dancing' has finished.

The Stoke City footballer's wife Abbey Clancy was crowned champion of series 11 at the weekend.

A source told The Mirror: "Peter has supported Abbey throughout 'Strictly' and was delighted for her when she won, but he's looking forward to having her back.

"Abbey threw herself into training and Peter's schedule is so intense that they barely saw each other for 13 weeks. When they did, she was exhausted.

"Peter wants things to go back to normal now that the show is over, and he's worried that won't happen unless she cuts back on her plans for next year."

Crouch was in the audience to cheer on Clancy during Saturday's final.
