Tottenham Hotspur's Kyle Walker admits to "trainer fetish"

Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Walker has admitted that he has a "trainer fetish" and believes that he acquired his love of footwear from his mother.

The 24-year-old, who has been called up to the England squad for matches against Lithuania and Italy, has revealed that he owns around 150 pairs of trainers.

"I've always had a trainer fetish," Walker said in a Q&A with Nike. "That's just my thing. I think I caught it from my mum because I know my mum does like shoes. So I think I've caught it off her, but I think I've kind of overtook her now, definitely.

"How many pairs have I got? Oh, I don't know. I couldn't tell you. Maybe 150 or so."

Walker missed last year's World Cup in Brazil due to an abdominal injury, which kept him out of action for nine months.
