Singapore GP track invader arrested

A man has been arrested after invading the Formula 1 track during the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 27-year-old was spotted walking along the circuit by Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel, who eventually won the race.

A statement from F1's governing body FIA said that the man had gained "unauthorised access" to the track, and added: "We are awaiting a full report from the clerk of the course in order to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident."

Earlier this season, a similar incident occurred when a person ran across the track during a practice session at the Chinese Grand Prix.
