Danny Cipriani: 'I'm more careful after getting hit by bus'

Sale Sharks star Danny Cipriani has insisted that he will be "more careful" the next time he goes out drinking, after getting hit by a bus.

The 25-year-old suffered minor injuries when he collided with the vehicle while on a pub crawl with teammates in Leeds two months ago.

"I don't want to be as dramatic as saying being hit by a bus was a life-changing scenario but it gave me a chance to regain focus," the Daily Star quotes Cipriani as saying.

"I know what I want now. I want to get back to my best and to eliminate any negative thoughts. And I will more careful next time I'm out drinking for sure."

Cipriani is currently dating model Kelly Brook, whom he split from three years ago.
